Now hiring entry level or experienced warehouse workers! A local distribution center is hiring warehouse workers to join their growing team. Warehouse workers will be asked to move product by hand to prepare it for shipping to stores. Larger product may need to be moved with forklift, but this is primarily a material handler role, moving material without a forklift. Position will require regularly lifting up to 70 pounds, and occasionally up to 100lbs. Description: Performs warehouse labor tasks Material handling Pulling orders Receiving and loading product Operating equipment such as electric walk and ride pallet jacks, electric order pickers and forklifts Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to hot and cold temperatures Frequent squatting, bending, twisting reaching and continuous standing and walking Good computer and math skills Good verbal communication skills Must be able to maintain work quotas Candidates OK with heights preferred Operate electric order pickers and forklifts as needed Inventory data entry Qualifications Previous warehouse experience preferred This is a fairly entry level position Experience repeatedly lifting heavy loads preferred Comfort with heights preferred Good computer and math skills Good verbal communication skills Must be able to maintain work quotas Candidates OK with heights preferred Experience operating forklifts and electric order pickers preferred Shift: the company has multiple shifts available: swing Monday through Thursday, and weekend day shifts are available.
