Seeking Adult, Dependable, Skilled Upright Bassist

Seeking a dependable, skilled and readily available upright bassist for 1-2 gigs a month (more during the holiday season). Our band is currently composed of Keys, Tenor Sax, Small-kit Drummer. We'd like to add an Acoustic Bassist. We've been playing gigs that pay 100/man for three hours, but once we get a steady bassist worked in, we'll use an agent to get better paying gigs (Weddings, events, balls) We are trying to keep to a low-volume, low-key vibe. We do a variety of tunes from the Real Book, as well as versions of pop songs from James Taylor, Sting, Van Morrison and Mo-Town. We do a mix of swing, jazz, latin and pop-ish. We are looking specifically for Acoustic, Upright bassist, both for the look and the sound. Our set are built of a standard list of about 60 tunes, so once you've got them down, you wouldn't need to rehearse much. We prefer clean-cut, professional, non-drug users, please. We rehearse in the E-470/Quincy area. We have PA and amps. All you'd need to bring is your bass.
