Industrial Worker: Houston Based - Up to 80% Travel We are a small company that specializes in the tear-down of substation transformers and other plant equipment. Based in Houston, but work nationwide. ***Upcoming project in Marshall, TX / Duration: 2 weeks The right candidate is eager to learn, mechanically inclined, works at a fast pace and is a good leader. **This is a GREAT opportunity for advancement! After 90 days, the right candidate will have access to full medical and dental benefits, with a significant pay increase. ** Pay rate of $17/ hr. DOE - ALL travel expenses paid, including hotel - Meal per diem paid weekly - Bonus program Typical project schedule: 50 hrs/wk, M – Sat, duration 2-6 weeks Base schedule in between projects: 20 hours / week Position requires: • Able to travel 80% year-round, within US • Valid driver’s license • At least 5 years industrial or related experience • Ability to follow all safety measures required by company or clients • Background check (no felonies in last 5 years) • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Experience required: • Working at heights up to 15’ • Familiar with hand / power tools • Trailer use – loading, securing and maneuvering • Use of a tape measure and basic math skills • Can handle working in hard, hot environments at a fast pace • Burning, grinding a plus COVID-19 Safety protocols are mandatory and in effect.
