Full Job Description MSI is seeking eager candidates to perform Low Voltage Services including all Pre-Wire Duties in our Residential & Commercial Projects. The Scope of Work will include Pre-Wire Rough-Ins, Trim-Outs, and Installation & Testing of Structured Cabling, Audio Visual (A/V), Telephony, Security & Surveillance, CCTV Systems, and Wired & Wireless Data Networks. Our Pre-Wire Technicians are instrumental in providing the cabling infrastructure that makes our Audio Visual installations a success. Prior Pre-Wire or Low-Voltage experience is not required to apply, however is a plus to be factored into hourly pay offered. Pre-Wire Technicians with Multimedia Solutions will be provided with training to help them move on to join our A/V installation team. Position Responsibilities and Skills Needed: Low Voltage-Pre/Wire Construction Installation: 1 year (Required) Willingness to learn and perform our Low Voltage Pre-Wire standards Ability to accurately read wiring diagrams Wire pulling in new and existing construction Wire terminations Proficient use of trade tools and ability to follow safety standards while working on constructions sites and finished homes Ability to lift up to 75lbs on a regular basis Climb ladders and tolerate heights as needed Driver’s license and clean DMV record Ability to pass a pre-employment Background Check Ability to obtain a Security License (Current license is not required to apply but it is a plus) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Low Voltage-Pre/Wire Construction Installation: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: One location Work Remotely: No
