Bonded dogs need new home

Circumstances have changed and after many years I have to rehome my beloved family pets. I am hoping to rehome these 2 dogs together. Ali is 9 year old dachshund beagle mix, weighs about 23 pounds, fixed female. She is shy at first but after she warms up and trusts you she is a lovebug. She came from a rescue and she was abused with mop and broom handles so she is afraid of them and can be skiddish around men until she knows them. We have had her about 6-7 years. Charlie is 8 year old chihuahua Italian greyhound mix, weighs about 15 pounds, fixed male. He is rambunctious and seems to have a Jekyll and Hyde type personality where he loves you and licks you all over one minute and then growls like he is possessed the next. He is super high energy but will sit once he wears himself out. We have had him since 9 months old. These 2 are bonded and we would love to see them go together. They would do best either as the only pets in the home or perhaps one in which they had a big fenced yard to run in. Small rehoming fee applies. Serious inquiries only.
