Pay range starts from entry level pay of $18.00 with no experience upward to $21 plus an hour! The responsibility of the Extruder Operator is to direct and perform set up of the equipment to support production efficiently. Will follow daily production schedule procedures conforming parts. Keeps work area clean Performs job in professional manner Records information as required in logs and process documentation Will perform the job of Packer and Feeder. Cleans extrusion equipment for color changes Sets up feeders, feed tables, pullers, extruders, heater, dies, coolers and other equipment to produce products Performs color changeover of dies Reviews schedule and coordinated profile changeovers Operate and adjust feed tables, pullers, extruders, heater, dies cooler and other equipment to produce products. Ensures production line maintains to 6's standards and reports any maintenance needs. Ability to operate the Single Minute Exchange Die (SMED)
