GRC Construction is seeking an experienced SUPERINTENDENT, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, in Commercial and Industrial Construction for the Tri-Cities region. Superintendents will coordinate and manage all on-site activities, as well as working with Project Managers, Architects, Project Engineers, Subcontractors, Field Personnel, Owners and other office departments, to deliver successful projects to Owners, while meeting all safety, budget, quality and scheduling requirements. Duties include: • Managing on-site aspects of projects • Building and maintaining client relationships • Managing vendors and subcontractors • Utilization of labor, material and other resources • Ensure schedules and budgets are met • Oversee quality control and ensure that company Safety Policy is being followed at all times by all individuals on site, even visitors such as design professionals and clients • Maintain high standards of ethics, integrity and company values • Ability to recognize and solve problems • Full Time presence on the work site and available at all times to the employees and subcontractors • Maintain or provide daily project documentation to be completed as required and distributed as needed • Proactively coordinate all work and members to ensure that execution is as seamless as possible and rework is minimized • Monitor project progress daily and adjust activities as needed to avoid delays. Provide updates to supervisor on schedule and subcontractor performance • Proactively coordinate all activities and generate resolutions to conflicts that arise that will not delay progress, compromise quality or impact costs • Coordinate equipment needs for the project Requirements include: Knowledge of construction practices such as commercial documents and specifications, excellent communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with Pro-Core is a plus. The right candidate will be a Highly Driven, Self-Starter. GRC Construction is a Drug Free workplace.
