Description
I have a somewhat unique request. I need to move an 8' sailfish and it needs to be box crated before it goes onto a moving truck to my storage unit. I live in a high rise apartment and the elevator is just large enough to accommodate the fish as is, meaning the wooden crate has to be built in the lobby or alley of the building. I would think the easiest way to do this is have the crate already mostly put together using my dimensions and then leave the final cover piece of plywood separate to secure fish than cover it. The fish is 95" long, 40" tall, not super thick. Dimensions for crate I would build it to 115"x 48" x 18". That way we have a little play and can secure it properly. I have pictures of the previous one that was used to give you an idea. If your handy, I can also pay you to remove my flatscreen off the wall, ceiling fan, and pull up bar for some additional payment.
Would like to have this done 8/21/21 - if you need to come see the fish prior to building crate let me know
