DUTIES:
• Log in and prep samples for storage pending tests
• Prep samples for testing
• Run tests for: concrete, mortar, grout, fireproofing, FRP panels, Rebar, PT Cables, etc.
• Perform field tests for moisture, PH, torque and Floor Flatness
• Monitor supplies and inform supervisor when low
• Monitor cure room organization, temp, humidity
• Utilize and maintain and upkeep logs for Test Mark Compression machine, United UTM’s, Rockwell hardness, rebar bend and various other laboratory equipment.
• Maintain small tool/equipment inventory and check inventory in/out to field techs
• During rainy season laboratory upkeep will be performed when jobsites are shut down. This could include all or some of the following;
o Painting
o Organizing
o Repair of small tools
o Updating tool logs
o Equipment maintenance
o Errands
REQUIREMENTS:
• ACI strength technician I (required)
• ACI Field technician (required)
• Masonry, Steel and other certifications preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (DMV),Good driving skills (driving Ford F250)
• Knowledge of Southern California Freeway Routes, ability to use GPS and read maps
• Proficient in MS office: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Good Customer Service personality
• Work M – F 40 hours, Overtime possible
• Ability to lift 50# or more regularly
