We operate through multiple online marketplaces including www.organicgrowkits.com & www.midwestgrowkits.com As Midwest Organics continues to grow, we are looking to add a part-time Production Assistant to support day-to-day operations in our production and order fulfillment facility in Woodstock, IL. We are looking for an experienced, outgoing, personable and reliable candidate with an interest in and open mind about mushrooms of all kinds. Ideal candidate will have experience operating in high volume environments, production line assembly of foods/goods, basic inventory knowledge and rotation (first in/ first out), a general knowledge of commercial power tools (hand drills, large mixers, drill presses) and experience operating a manual pallet jack. Overview of Position/Responsibilities -Assist in the setup, production, and retail assembly of premium Midwest Organics growing mediums -Assist in the receiving and stocking of raw organic goods including general warehousing/inventory tasks -Responsible for maintaining day-to-day cleanliness of production and fulfillment facility including hand tools and production equipment -Valid Driver License and reliable transportation required -Must be able to stand on feet for duration of shift -Must be able to continuously lift 50+lbs Full-Time Hours: 25+ hours/week Shifts Available: 7am-12pm Monday - Friday Pay: $15.00/hour Benefits: Paid Breaks, Daily Breakfast and coffee provided, Catered Lunches Interested applicants should reply with a resume and brief description of yourself along with your current availability and why you would like to join our team.
