I have one white, hand fed Java finch. This bird is TAME and wants to be with you to play and snuggle. Always wants to be on your shoulder and they fall asleep in your hand. Playful and boisterous in a very small package, only as big as a sparrow but as much personality as a puppy. This would be an excellent first bird. Rehoming fee of $150 A lot of time and care goes into raising birds including around the clock feeding when they’re little to get them this friendly with humans. Hand fed java finches are hard to find in the US but are very popular in Asia. They stay tame, want to interact with their owners and can even be taught tricks!
