Description

Load and unload packages in our fast-paced environment. Associates are responsible for warehouse duties including: the physical loading, unloading of heavy furniture and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing packages, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. and operating warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Shifts may vary depending on warehouse package volume and business needs. We need Cherry pickers and forklift operators. Must know how to use electric pallet jack. Responsibilities: - Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) - Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) - Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits - Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization - Report any discrepancies - Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers - Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment - Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Skills: - Work experience as a warehouse worker - Current forklift certification (preferred not required) - Cherry Picker Lift certification (preferred not required) - Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems - Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods - Good organizational and time management skills - Heavy lifting
