Again as I’ve said before Immigration is a valuable tool when used in moderation. It should be tightly regulated and merit based and above all limited. The view that ALL immigrants (besides a small % of violent criminals) should be naturalized and the border thrown wide open is more radical than a ban on all immigration. NOPE—I cut my own grass, do my own repairs and worked my AZZ off for 31.5 years..I don’t need illegal immigrants. If we limited it then farmers and business would have to adapt some but we would be fine. Heck companies and farm owners might even increase pay—-what a concept!!! (increasing demand for workers causes a increase in pay—-it’s called supply and demand…remember?) I wish one of you open borders type would give me a number on how many immigrants we should allow—for some reason you all get very unnncommmfortable when I ask that question. The 1950s were the Golden Age of the US. Immigration (illegal—legal was also lower) was practically zero compared to now and we still got our grass cut, houses painted etc. Then we started a space program, finished the Interstate system, competed modern infrastructure and raised the standard of living to the highest in the all the world. All with Almost no illegal immigration. PS I will agree with you on 1 point. That is we have too many native Americans who don’t want to work hard anymore. I lay almost 100% of that fault on our too easy welfare system. If that was reduced a lot more Americans would pick cabbages etc. and the demand for immigrants would drop. Personally I believe the Dem party knows that fully and well. They want the situation as it is.
