Harwich Port Boat Yard, is looking for a highly motivated, success-driven, and enthusiastic team player to join our service crew! Must be dependable and a hard worker with a friendly attitude. This position will provide you an opportunity to work on a variety of boats, in board, out board, diesel, sail. Harwich Port Boat Yard, is a full time, year-round facility, on picturesque Wychmere Harbor. If you are passionate about working with boats, please inquire further. JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Detailed oriented, striving for accuracy and efficiency in your technical work. You will be required to work, collaboratively, and independently, when necessary. Advise service advisor/manager when additional work is needed on a customer's boat prior to initiating any repairs, and produce a diagnosis and cost estimate for those additional repairs Advise service advisor/manager of any additional parts and/or materials needed to complete customer repairs. Keep a clean, safe workspace To continually offer suggestions for work improvement Perform other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent Be self-motivated, process-driven, and take pride in your work Attention to detail Must have essential mechanical and technical skills Marine/boat service experience preferred Preferred related skills, such as welding, electrical, plumbing, etc. Must have hand tools essential for the type of work assigned Have a valid state driver’s license Good health and physical mobility
