Murder Mystery Party - Harper's Ferry WV Whodunnit for Hire and The Barn have teamed up to bring you "Sinister Speakeasy" the 1920s themed murder mystery. Tickets: Limited seating. Advance purchase required. Not sold at the door. Timing: 8:00 PM Doors Open for Guest Arrivals, 8:30 - 10 PM Murder Mystery Party Cost: $30/person, food and beverages sold separately and not included in the ticket price. Age Requirement: Must be 21+ Group Seating Available: All sales using the same Party Name will be seated together. Recommended Dress: Gangsters and flappers of the 1920s encouraged. Search "1920s costume" for ideas. Men in fedoras and wearing suspenders, ladies in sequins, feathers and headbands. Participation Encouraged: This event is an interactive murder mystery game. As a guest, you will be asked to participate in the mystery as a sleuth searching for clues and interrogating suspects, or as a suspect proclaiming your innocence. Watch out! This is so much fun, you might DIE laughing. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS*Is parking free? Yes, there is free parking in the lot out front. *Could I get an overnight room? There are a limited number of rooms at The Barn and The Light Horse Inn. Call (855)-935-2276. *Will we be able to get dinner? The Barn has light appetizer based fare such as charcuterie boards, local fresh salsa, and the famous WV pepperoni roll. We also recommend ordering in from Kelly Farms Kitchen, that delivers. *My friend and I want to sit together. Can we book individually? Yes. You may make separate reservations. When asked "Are you part of a larger party?" Answer "Yes." If both of you choose the same Party Name, your seats will be together. *I'm celebrating. How can I have an entire table devoted to my party? You may purchase a table for six. Or, choose a Party Name and give it to your friends and family. *Is there a savings if I purchase an entire table? Yes. Purchasing a table will reduce your fee. *Do I need to print my ticket? No. Save your ink. Give your name, party name and password at the door. *Do I need to wear a costume? We highly recommend it. It is part of the fun. Search 1920s costume for ideas then check your closet, you probably have something that would work. *Is it okay if the name on my ticket doesn't match the person who attends? Yes. If an illness or emergency prevents you from attending, give your seat to a friend. Have them use your name upon arrival. *Can I get a refund? No. All sales are final. Plan accordingly. *What if there is inclement weather? Unless there is a state-wide emergency preventing The Barn from opening, the event will go as planned and there will be no refunds. *Are there any exceptions to the refund policy (death in the family, illness)? No. Sales are final. If an illness or emergency prevents you from attending, give your seat to a friend. *I would like to turn my company party (or family reunion) into a murder mystery party at The Barn.
