Begginers or people comfortable working with begginers

Trying to find a “perfect storm” of maybe 1 other idividual or open to more than 1 other person I’ve tried this before with little to no luck, but here goes. I am 31, and my best friend is 30 we are both looking to create something.. we have dabbled with garage band and are trying to get back into it. We each have a few of our own ideas / unfinished songs we made from scratch. I’d describe the vibe as experimental, electronic, industrial, maybe a hint of rap, comedy, dark.. but we are still feeling it out. NIN is a heavy inspiration for both of us, but we both have various musical tastes and elements.. the common thread is authenticity, words with meaning, and depth. Open to male or females, maybe close in age but willing to work with someone regardless if the right fit. Someone who is well versed in music or 1-2 instruments would be ideal, trying to get something great started. Prefferably on long island, Nassau is best.. or mid island… not looking to commute constantly.. Willingness to meet up and work on something as a collab is nessesary. We are both writers, and amatuer singers with big ideas just waiting to blow up in the percect storm of creativity.
