Evening hike through the Garden and nature trails discussing the garden theme, plants, and wildlife along the trails. WHO Join the YMCA-ECRN+ and Metro Parks for our monthly Happy Hikers Club. We will take a 2 mile total hike and the program will last for 45-60 minutes. We'll be hiking through the Garden and nature trails discussing the garden theme, plants, and wildlife along the trails. WHERE Inniswood Metro Gardens- Evening Happy Hikers Club! All ages and abilities welcome! The hiking path is a paved path, raised boardwalk, gravel, and mulch. WHEN Sunday, August 29th at 5pm. REMINDERS Registration is required and space is limited. Please reserve a ticket for every person that will be attending (including parents.) Register today to reserve your spot!In the event of inclement weather, the outing will be canceled and rescheduled. Please check facebook.com/ECRNplus (you don't need to have a Facebook profile to see our public posts) or call 614.300.7867 the day of the event for the latest updates.Parents/Guardians must stay with their child at all times. We encourage family participation!Please dress for the weather during the evening hike. We recommend your child and family wear sun protection (sunscreen, hat, etc) wear bug spray. We will also have some available for families to use. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. NOTES Driving directions: 940 S. Hempstead Road, From 270, take the exit for Route 3/Westerville Road, head south to Dempsey Road, left (east) on Dempsey Road, left (north) on Hempstead Road, follow Hempstead as it makes a slight right and the Entrance to Inniswood will be on the right. There is only one Entrance and Parking lot. We will meet you at the Gardens Entrance at the start time.
