Description: The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents the Opening Reception for the Simply Elemental 2021 exhibit on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Event Schedule: • 4:00-4:45 PM: Guitar Music by Renate Kehlenbeck • 5:00-5:45 PM: Harp Music by Julia Fallon • 5:15-6:00 PM: Poetry Readings Simply Elemental 2021 is the 6th annual outdoor, multi-artist art installation that opens on August 1st. There will be live music performances, live poetry readings, and hors d'oeuvre and punch available, graciously sponsored by Matrix Gallery Fine American Crafts. Visit the garden anytime (dawn to dusk) to check out the visual art displayed in the garden from August 1st until September 30th. Parking is free on the weekends NOTE: weekday parking permits are required; obtain weekday visitor parking permits at The Blacksburg Regional Art Association is sponsoring the first ever, 2021 Virginia Tech Hahn Horticulture Garden Simply Elemental Sculpture Award.
