Energetic Catchy Shoegaze Band Looking for Experienced Bassist

Hi there! I'm Shawna. I recently posted an ad looking for bandmates and that's been successful so far. So now we just need a bassist. I recorded a demo of 5 songs earlier this year on my own that you can listen to here: https://soundcloud.com/exoticphysics/sets/exotic-physics-demo Most importantly, we're looking for someone whose main instrument is the bass and can really drive the song and energy. A bassist who can lock-in with our drummer. We want to be thunderous and authoritative with the sound. We want people to feel us in their chests when we play live. I certainly wouldn't be turned off if you have an Ampeg SVT w/ 8x10. You'd make the 6th person in the band: drummer, 2 guitarists (I'll play guitar live occasionally), another vocalist who plays keyboard, and I sing. So far I've written the songs but we're beginning to write things more collaboratively. We have a practice space; it's nice and warm during the hottest days of summer. 🤷🏻‍♀️ By experienced bassist, I mean that you've been in bands and you can listen to a song in progress and write your parts to it. You don't need to know theory as long as you can mess around with it until you have something you like by ear. Experienced also means you take the band seriously. Showing up for practice is a priority. Practicing and playing shows often are a priority. We are keen to put on a hell of a live show—expressively and visually.
