AllPoints/DFS is now hiring!!! We are a National leader in the distribution of restaurant equipment, supplies and replacement parts. Join our team in Wheeling, IL. We are currently seeking full-time Material Handlers. No experience necessary, but is desirable. The Material Handler position is responsible for warehouse duties including: picking and packing of various sized products and packages by hand using RF scanning technology. The standard shift begins at 9:00am until 5:30 pm or all shipments are loaded for pick up. Hours of operation are typically Monday - Friday. Material Handler starting compensation begins at $16.00-16.75, depending on experience. You will receive increases at 3, 6, 9 and by your 18-month anniversary date you will be making +$2.50-3.00 total per hour more than the starting hiring wage. Essential Job Qualifications include but are not limited to: 0-1 years warehouse experience Able to work in a fast-paced distribution environment Perform basic math Attention to detail Ability to regularly lift and carry items up to 30lbs, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time Overtime and/or weekend work only when needed to service our customers If you think you possess these skills, please respond with your resume.
