Mid-summer social ride looping Manhattan from West to East Harlem We are biking from Upper Manhattan (Down to Earth Market) to Brooklyn Bridge via Summer Streets and returning using the West Side Greenway to party in East Harlem. The ride will include rest stops, art and food/drinks available for purchase along the route. Biking Information: Arrival Time: 9:00AMPedals Down: 9:30AM (to allow enough time to purchase items and arrival)Miles: 20Ride Time: Your own paceBikers MUST ride their own bicyclePlease note, this ride DOES NOT include a bike share and rain cancels ride. Bring: water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, bike lock, cash / credit card Our mission is to provide the residents of East Harlem, Harlem, Washington Heights, Inwood and the Bronx with information and resources for best practices on utilize a bicycle to improve ones health, commute and build social relationships. We work in partnership with bicycle-friendly businesses, organizations and supporters to introduce area residents to bicycling, which we believe will boost the overall physical health and community's economy.
