Drop by for a colorful collage-inspired tote bag workshop with Chicago artist and designer, Suzie Shin. All materials will be provided. Join us on Saturday, August 7th for a Collage Tote Workshop with Suzie Shin! This event will be held from 11a-1p during Suzie's Pop Up at Side Practice (9am-3pm). We are allowing a maximum of 15 people to participate in the workshop. Suzie Shin is a Korean-American collage artist, illustrator, and graphic designer based in Chicago. Her collage practice consists of abstract compositions made with magazine scraps that play with color, shape and rhythm. The original artworks are either framed, printed on greeting cards, or adapted for tapestry throw blankets. You might find her sketching in coffee shops or drawing tulips in the Garfield Park Conservatory. @shin_suzie -------------------- Proceeds will be donated to The Abundance Setting, a non-profit that supports the advancement of working mothers in the culinary and hospitality industries to have a sustainable career while maintaining a quality life at home.
