Mama & me sensory play classes hosted by Integrative Family Medicine of Iowa The goal with these classes is to help you as the parent or caregiver create an attachment with your child. We want to teach you how to teach your child, help your child's brain to develop, and regulate stimulation. We do this through specialized play, music, and sensory activities. We love to play with a purpose and hope you will join us! We will host three classes based on developmental age. You should choose the class based on the milestone we mark on the class description, even if your baby or toddler is outside of the age range. Non-crawling Baby: ages 8 weeks to 6 months (not yet crawling) Crawling Baby: ages 6 months -1 year Walking Toddler: ages 1-3 years In each class, our instructor Stephanie will teach the parent how to interact with their child to facilitate sensory awareness and increase attachment between mom and child. Class activities may include stretching, song play, toy play, sensory stimulation, and massage techniques.
