J&M Property Management is a rapidly growing Property Management company located in Dakota Dunes, SD who manages multi-family housing and commercial properties in Sioux City, Sioux Falls, South Sioux City and Greater Iowa. We serve over 30 properties, including Single Family, Affordable Multi-Family, Commercial and an HOA community with over 1300 residents. We work with HUD, Section 8 and Tax Credit properties in addition to Market Rate communities. We pride ourselves on constantly improving the quality of living within our communities. We are currently looking for experienced individuals in Multi-Family Housing Maintenance who can work closely with the Property Management Team to ensure work orders are prioritized and completed in a timely manner while keeping the preventative maintenance checklists current and coordinating vendors for large projects/rehabs. We have openings for Maintenance Techs from Entry Level (less than 3 yrs experience) to Maintenance Tech III (CMAT, HVAC, Plumbing or Electrician Licensed) positions. Most positions start between $16.50 and $21 based on experience. We also have a full array of benefits, including PTO, Paid Holidays, Health, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority Make Ready/Turn Units between tenants Work closely with Property Management to review budgets and prioritize wants vs. needs Manage and Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Schedule Participate in a rotating On-Call schedule (24 hrs for 7 days) Minimum Experience Requirements Dry walling, painting, cabinetry, basic carpentry Working knowledge of plumbing basics (toilets, sinks, faucets, drains) Working knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches and light fixtures Employment Pre-Requisites Valid Driver’s License Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
