You will: · Perform mechanical and electronic repairs of all equipment including conveyor system, printer and sorting equipment. · Respond to equipment break down or emergency situations with urgency and expediency. · Utilize inventory, pm schedule and work order systems, and maintains the spare parts/supply inventory. · Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner. · Perform all additional duties as required. Your background: As an Onsite Maintenance Technician, you have: · Experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment with at least one year of break/fix mechanical and electrical experience preferred. · Familiarity servicing mailing equipment, conveyer machines, PLC systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, pulleys or any other industrial types of electro mechanical production equipment preferred. · Experience using a multimeter or any other type of electronic testing equipment. · Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals and parts diagram preferred. · Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment preferred. · Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, read schematics, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures. · The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
