Lasting Memories School and Event Photography is a family owned school photography business that has been photographing students at schools and preschools since 1997. We are searching for happy, positive, outgoing team members to help us continue the school picture day tradition in the upcoming school year primarily in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. The successful candidates will be those who are punctual, reliable and organized, with a professional appearance who truly enjoy bringing smiles to children’s faces. Basic familiarity with digital cameras is recommended. The ability to learn and retain training quickly, perform under a set of specific guidelines, and work in a fast paced environment is necessary. High volume photography experience is a plus, but you must still be trainable. While experience is a benefit, a cheerful personality and the ability to bring out the best expressions in kids quickly is of utmost importance. Paid training and equipment are provided. Base rate is $17-19/ hour plus a bonus of $1.50 per hour will be paid December 1 for those who complete the fall season. Must have reliable and insured transportation, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand most of the working hours. This is seasonal work for the months of August - November and February – June. The schedule will provide for 3-5 days of work a week. We typically arrive at the schools at 7:00 – 7:30 to set up equipment and are ready to go when school starts. End times will depend on the size of the school being photographed that day, typically between 1:00 and 3:00.
