Position Title: Housekeeper Wage: $11.25/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:30am-5pm (or until finished) Mon-Thurs, Weekend shift 9am-6pm (or until finished) Do you want to clean up your career? Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, hang draperies, and polish metalwork and furniture - Collect and replace soiled linens for laundering, in accordance with OHM and brand standards - Receive and store linens supplies in linen closet - Refurnish room with supplies, towels, etc. as required, restock cleaning cart with appropriate supplies - Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms - Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms and mops, and powered scrubbing and waxing machines - Clean rugs, carpets, draperies, and furniture using a vacuum cleaner, replace light bulbs, wash windows, and panes - Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork, empty trash and waste - Report to work on time and in proper uniform Requirements: - High school diploma/GED - Previous housekeeping experience preferred - Good communication skills - Deliver results and be self-motivated - Work well as a team and individually - Multitask - Lift 25lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and exert up to 100lbs of force on occasion - Be flexible with schedule as needed - Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, pull, lift, and grasp with hands and fingers - Repetitive motion, walking, and standing QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
