The laughs are coming back to Endicott when Homebrewed Comedy takes the stage at Snidely's on Saturday, Sept. 25. Justin Jackson is headlining the night and Will Phillips and Marc Hoover are joining host Mike Peters. The show starts at 7 p.m., and it's completely free. Just get there early and tip your bartenders well. About the comedians: Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske, and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters. Marc Hoover got his start in stand-up in 2019 and has been one of the hardest-working comedians in Binghamton ever since. A member of the Army for six years, a former police officer and now a part of the National Guard, Hoover is armed with a life’s worth of stories and he’s finally found an outlet that doesn’t include a gun and a haircut. You don’t need to salute him. A few chuckles will do. A talented comedian, writer and author, Will Phillips is a Utica favorite. He’s the head of content development for Stage Time Trivia, which serves several restaurants around the Central New York area, and co-created the popular KoldCast web series, Murder Squad, D.B.A. Before his stand-up career began, Phillips spent two years working with Family Guy and wrote Hollywood Failure, which was published in 2014. Justin Jackson is one of the strongest comedians in the Syracuse area. A regular host at the Funny Bone, Jackson performed at the Cape Fear Comedy Festival in Wilmington, N.C., hosted the 2019 Binghamton Comedy Crawl and has worked in Michigan and South Carolina. During his circuitous journey across the country, Jackson has delighted audiences all over with his clever takes on the world around him. He’s also a co-host of the Play with Yourself podcast. Mike Peters is a comedian from Binghamton, N.Y., who produces shows throughout New York and Pennsylvania. He books some of the strongest talent in the area for an affordable price.
