GREENDALE, WI — Greendale Police Department responded to a home on Oriole Lane on July 15 following a resident's report of a camera crew taking pictures of a child, but it was anything but that, Sergeant Christopher Karczewski told Patch. Police say the photographers, there were three of them, were actually a documentary film crew. The crew was taking pictures of a member's childhood home, which happened to be in Greendale, Karczewski said. The responding officer conducted a top-to-bottom investigation into the incident and concluded the crew was telling the truth, and that the resident's concerns were not true, according to Karczewski. Other Notables From Last Week A driver was swerving all over the road, officers pulled the car over and found a man operating while intoxicated — it was his second time. A resident sent $2,500 in gift cards to her friend's email address only to later find out that the email had been hacked. Her money, gone. A woman accidentally locked her infant inside her car but officers were able to get into the vehicle.
