Description
BROOKFIELD, WI — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Brookfield, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Elmbrook School District
The first day of school for most students in Brookfield is Sept 1.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Brookfield.
The Elmbrook School District moved face masks from required to recommended in May for all people who enter district property.
The district hasn't made a decision on any policy changes after the recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations for both unvaccinated and vaccinated people to mask indoors, a district spokesperson told Patch.
The district will present a Return to Learn Plan to its Board of Education on Aug. 10, the spokesperson said.
