Join Rissa Miller for a hands-on DIY session at the Dark Parlour to make your own cleansing herb bundle from locally grown sage, mugwort, rosemary and other plants. Learn more about sacred smoke from herbs, flowers, and resins, and explore their practical and spiritual uses. She will offer an overview on cultural uses of white sage, palo santo, and pinon use for "smudging and saging," and alternatives. She will also discuss combining herbs into bundles for drying, safe handling and foraging techniques, and connecting to the plant world as a creative medium. Fresh herbs and hemp cord will be supplied. All students will leave with an herb bundle of their own design. Disclaimer: Herb bundles/incense are NOT intended to consume!
