WALNUT CREEK, CA — Kona Ice, the shaved ice food truck company, will come to the Center for Community Arts for a fundraiser in August. The Kona Ice truck will be at the Center for Community Arts parking lot on 111 N. Wiget Lane on Aug. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Kona Ice will donate 20% of sales to the Center for Community Arts, part of the city's arts and recreation department, and the Community Arts Foundation, which provides scholarships and advocacy for arts education. All funds raised will support art scholarships that help students cover fees for the city's art classes.
