Hi, my name is Lisa. Almost 2 years ago, animal control decided to take my son (dog) from me. They believed that a homeless person didn't deserve to own a dog. They knew I couldn't afford the fees after the holiday weekend passed. By the time shelter was open to get him out, the fees were almost $500. I wasn't able to get any funding help, since it was the end of year, and there were no more funds. My boy Zeus was and is my life. To this day, I barely sleep, I can't. I will never get over him being gone. Last I was told, he was being transferred to an out of the area shelter, from the Humboldt County shelter. And that he was adopted out the first week he was there. That was after being in Humboldt County shelter for 6 months or so. If you know of his whereabouts, I will pay whatever you ask in cash. I will find a way to get the money. Please I am lost without him. I honestly can say, I did not deserve to have him be taken away. His name of course, is Zeus. He is a light and dark brown, with white, brindle pitbull. Has a white line down his face. I know he's having a hard d time not being with me. He never liked going too far from Mama.
