SANTA CRUZ, CA — Senior hours will continue at the Santa Cruz Costco Wholesale store. The company is making the move to help keep seniors safe as the number of coronavirus cases rise. Seniors can continue shopping for two days each week in the store at 220 Sylvania Ave.: Tuesday and Thursday. The company initially planned to stop senior hours but opted to offer it for guests as the delta variant cases grow across the U.S. Hours for seniors or anyone with disabilities are from Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 to 10 a.m. at U.S. and Puerto Rico warehouse locations. "Only club members 60 and older, people with disabilities and immunocompromised shoppers will be admitted during those hours," AARP reports. Costco members who work in health care or as first responders can also shop during these hours with proper identification.
