Yo! So, I've got a set of pipes that are getting a bit rusty that I'd like to polish up and use again BUT have little interest in the writing process. I've tried that to no avail: LOVE to sing but get stymied by the writing process. I'd love to collaborate with a musician/song writer that might not want to sing and is looking for a singer for their songs or to perhaps to sing along with sometimes. I've got weekend availability and after spending some time practicing would love to perform at coffee shops or small bistros and just maybe record something! Some interests and influences: Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Feist, Nora Jones, Imogen Heap, Esthero, Zero 7, Nickel Creek, JEM, Regina Spector, Gotye, The Shins, Band of Horses, Fiona Apple, Metric, Air, Rose Mary Clooney, Varuca Salt, Hoobastank, Sia, Berlin, Ween, Death Cab, Tina Dico, The Cardigans, The Strokes, Jack Johnson, The Dance Hall Crashers, The Head & The Heart, Most 80s,... to name but a few. I've got some range. I'm also not opposed to maybe learning some covers that we could change up a little (ex: Depeche Mode's "I just can't get enough" slowed down with an indie/jazzy flare)?
