The Company Founded in 1973, Meyer and Associates is a boutique direct-marketing company, selling insurance products through the sponsorship of college and university alumni associations. We employ about 25 people in an entrepreneurial environment. The Position This is position requires team work and initiative in a fast-paced, client-focused business. We seek an inquisitive high achiever with a friendly, patient phone manner. The Responsibilities The Customer Service Representative is largely involved in service and administration. This is not a call center. We work one-on-one with customers to explain the features of the insurance we offer. The responsibilities include: · Handling phone and email inquiries from current and prospective    customers· Preparing well-written responses to customers· Processing insurance quotes, coordinating underwriting, and    assembling insurance certificates · Maintaining accurate file documentation· Processing premium payments  Have a Bachelor’s degree The Requirements Contenders should: Use Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)Have excellent communication and reasoning skills – and a keen attention to detailBe able to multitask and problem solveBe willing to adjust work schedule to accommodate work volume Prior business and/or client service experience is a big plus, especially in insurance.
