PHILADELPHIA — A second person has been charged in connection with the deadly shooting outside Pat's King of Steaks that occurred earlier this month, according to court records and news reports. Jamie Frick, 36, of Lebanon County, is charged with murder, tampering with evidence, conspiracy, and obstruction in connection with the fatal shooting of 22-year-old David Padro, of Camden, New Jersey. Padro was shot and killed outside the popular cheesesteak shop at about 12:55 a.m Thursday, July 22. According to Action News, police said while Frick didn't fire a gun, she had enough involvement to be charged with murder. Paul Burkert, 36, of Reading, has been charged with murder, tampering with evidence, recklessly endangering another person, firearm crimes, and more. Padro and Burkert got into an argument, then a physical fight while waiting in line at the eatery before Padro was shot. The Philadelphia Inquirer initially reported the two were arguing about the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants, but later said the argument was about parking. Burket was taken into custody near the Liberty Bell after turning himself over to police several minutes following the shooting. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 9, court records show and Frick's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 16.
