NORRISTOWN, PA — Back-to-school planning has already begun, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Norristown Area School District. The first day of school for local students is Aug. 30. Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. >>Montco Now Recommends Masks Indoors At Schools, Vaccine Or No Masks are now recommended indoors at schools in Montgomery County for the 2021-22 school year for all students and teachers, regardless of whether or not they have the vaccine.
