Description

BOLINGBROOK, IL — In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, officials from the village of Bolingbrook said Thursday anyone entering Town Center is required to wear a mask, per local and national guidelines. Officials also said that people attending outdoor events should be respectful of others' space and practice social distancing. To promote vaccinations, the village will be hosting pop-up vaccine clinics at village events. More information about the initiatives can be found on the village's website. The village is also offering at-home vaccination appointments to those interested. An appointment can be made online, and someone from the Bolingbrook Fire Department will come to administer the required dosage. Bolingbrook currently has a 3.14 percent positivity rate, and Will and DuPage counties have been categorized as "substantial" in transmission levels.
