Description

Our beautiful Lola has been with us since we rescued her, we have been fostering her for three months and she’s such a happy and playful good girl. We love her to pieces but we cannot keep her as we are moving out of state. She is a perfect family dog, she absolutely LOVES other dogs and wants to be best friends with any dogs, people, children. She is a huge sweetheart and so much fun. She’s taken to training really well. It would not be wise to keep her with small animals, though. She has hunting instincts that cannot be trained out of her, it’s natural for her mixed shepherd breeding to have a high prey drive. But if you have rodents, pests, moles, anything you want gone that won’t be poisonous to her she will get them for sure. (She actually ate a cane toad this morning and about scared us to death thinking she was poisoned. She didn’t get sick, we guess she’s done it before and doesn’t have a problem with the bufotoxin because of it). She’s a natural ratter and mice hunter. She always gets the mice, roaches, any pests trying to eat our chicken feed. She has even killed all the gophers and toads in our one acre area. As well as keeping any yard birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc completely away. She doesn’t tolerate any intrusion on her territory. She has protected our gardens in such a way that we haven’t had to even worry about caterpillars getting our cabbage. She is very protective of her known territory and will defend it against strange people as well as strange dogs or anything she perceives as an intruder or danger to her area and her family. Lola needs daily play and to not be chained up. She loves any kind of treat especially peanut butter and beef or pork bones and rawhide. She is a blast to play with and would be phenomenal with children and protect them always. Please contact us anytime by text if you think Lola is right for your family. She needs a good home and a good family to love and take care of and protect always. 708three six 8 two 88 zero. We are in Alamo. She is also extremely attached to our other rescue pup who is a pit bull mix. They love each other and we don’t want to separate them… if you would be interested in a 2 for 1 family dogs who are bonded then mention this part and we can talk about it. Lola isn’t fixed yet but the pitbull mix (6 months old) is being spayed on the 31st unless you adopt her and Lola beforehand. She’s like a chocolate pitbull but miniature. We don’t know what she is mixed with.
