Two Dead In Fatal Altadena Crash On State Route 2

ALTADENA, CA — A man and boy died early Thursday morning after a car they were in crashed into a tree on State Route 2 in Altadena. Edwin Salguero, 21, and Jonathan Salguero, 17, were in an Acura sedan on the highway around 1:50 a.m. when it veered off the road near mile-marker 50 and crashed into nearby a tree. The two were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Los Angeles County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm if the two were related to each other. The crash remains under investigation.
