Family looking for male puppy

Family of four looking for a male puppy that will not weigh more than 40 pounds as an adult. Willing to spend a reasonable rehoming fee (not astronomical). We own our home. Have a big fenced yard. And go to the lake often. Our boys are 9 and 15. I work from home half the time so the pup will not be left alone often.
