Description
This individual will perform a variety of customer service and stocking duties related to parts sales. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include checking in material received against the packing slip for accuracy. Preparing outgoing shipments by checking the product being shipped against our paperwork and packaging the shipment to make sure it arrives at the destination undamaged. Job Responsibilities: - Handle all incoming shipments. - Perform verification of purchased products and enter purchase orders receipts into the computer system. - Place received material, after separating backorders, into proper warehouse storage locations. - Pull, pack, weigh and label materials for shipment (including assemble & hold orders). - Prepare shipping documents via FedEx, UPS, or USPS - Prepare bills of lading and express receipts. - Assist in loading the trucks. - Enter data such as addresses, quantities, and weights to complete the paperwork necessary for shipment. - Maintains database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to customer service and finance or other associated departments as required. - Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions. - Moving material and product in a warehouse by lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks - Clean warehouse and trucking/parking area. - May assist with over-the-counter (will call) sales. - Ensures product handling and delivery practices meet customer expectations. - Keep records of shipments and file packing slips per company practices. - Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of Agile Off Road - Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. - Perform all other duties as assigned by management professionally and efficiently. Qualifications: - Knowledge of basic computer operations - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Must be able to lift 50-75+ pounds repeatedly. - Driver's License (Required) - High school or equivalent (Preferred) Job Details: - Full-time Position - Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: - 401(k) matching - Health insurance - Paid time off Schedule: - 8-hour shift (8-5 pm) - Monday to Friday - Overtime Opportunities Available Building vans is what we do!
