Process Canine is a dog daycare, boarding and training facility. We are always growing and currently looking for the right person to grow with us. The ideal candidate already has some professional dog handling experience (owning a pet dog does not count as experience). Previous dog daycare, boarding, training experience are a big plus. However, we are willing to train anyone with interest in dog behavior. Enthusiasm for the job is a must as well as understanding that while it is awesome to be with dogs all day, the job is more than pets and cuddles. A lot of hard work and skill goes into successfully managing the play floor. We are just a tad a nuts about proper dog interactions and making sure everyone has safe fun. Process Canine is a 24/7/365 operation. Weekend and Holiday hours are required for all staff members (time and a half of course for holidays) and overnight interest is a huge plus for potential candidates. The job includes cleaning, manual labor and daily dog facility maintenance including cleaning crates, play yards and the like. Ability to withstand all temperatures is important as you will be outside for extended periods of time throughout the day year round. Right now the position has 20-30 hours available with plenty of room to grow to more for the right candidate. All of our part-time employees have turned into full time at some point! Those with the skill and knowledge to move upwards are eligible for management and weekend lead opportunities.
