Looking for a big calico to love? Meet April! April is a beautiful four-year-old kitty who came to the Kentucky Humane Society when her previous owner could no longer care for her. April can be a bit shy with people at first but loves petting, attention, and playing with people once she is comfortable. I am her foster mom through KHS and I believe she will do well in a home with other cats as she appears quite interested in the resident felines. April does have FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, but can live with other kitties as long as they get along. FIV just means her immune system is a little weaker than other cats and she will need a comfortable life with little stress. April is very affectionate despite her shyness, but is also independent enough to not be demanding. She has been a lovely houseguest and her new family will be very lucky to have her! April is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on her vaccines. April is a member of our adoption ambassador program.
