Havas STREET (havasstreet.com) is hiring food truck servers o represent a deli meat client in order to give back to essential workers! This food truck tour will be traveling to various venues and giving out free breakfasts or lunches to employees as appreciation for working and providing throughout the pandemic. We are a marketing agency that focuses on developing brand activations outside of traditional advertising that create a more personal connection between a brand and its key consumer. We do so by encouraging in-person product trials or by providing fun (& free) incentives for consumers in order to build brand awareness for our clients. This is a great opportunity to pick up as a side gig to supplement any current income, or for students while at school! Pay Rate: $26/hr (Before taxes, W-2 employee – paid out within 2 weeks!) Program overview: - Flexible scheduling, sign up for shifts based on your availability and ability to travel - Shifts are 3-5 hours, unless otherwise noted - Part-time schedule; up to 15-20 hours per week Duties: - Support team with setup/breakdown of food truck and event - Greet consumers and guide pedestrian traffic through the footprint - Assemble prepared meal-kits and serve to appropriate customer (Brand ambassadors will not cook the food, but a Food Handler's card is still required) - Submit your event recap and timesheet online within 24 hours of each shift - Answer any consumer questions, create brand awareness, and show appreciation to LA's essential workers! Must: - Be 18 + to apply - Have current food handler's card or be willing to obtain it prior to first shift - Be comfortable working on feet and outdoors throughout the shift - Have access to internet for recaps and timesheet - Have reliable transportation to-and-from the events - Be willing to abide by CDC guidelines, including wearing a mask and gloves during your shifts (provided) - Those with hospitality/customer service experience are encouraged to apply To apply, please respond with your name and a current resume!
