The entire republican party is embarrassed by the behavior of Trump extremists that day. That is why they try to downplay the insurrection and blame it on Nancy Pelosi. Small children behave the exact same way when they do something that they are ashamed of. They try to minimize their behavior that downplays the reality. When real men and women blow it, they own up to their mistakes. They work to rectify their misbehaviors. Trump and his extremists are not adult enough to own their actions. The thing that separates the U.,S. from every other nation is our democracy. The Jan 6th insurrection incited by Donald Trump, Donald Jr. and Rudy Guiliani that day was nothing short of an attack on our American way of life. These peoplke tried to disrupt our democracy.
