Apartment Grounds Person/Entry Level Maintenance $500 sign on bonus after 90 probationary period Do you enjoy feeling like part of a tight knit group. We are almost like family at the OAG. Most of our employees have been with our company longer than industry averages. This position often leads to a promotion within the company to a higher paying maintenance position. Job Duties/Expectations will include; 1. Daily pick up of all manner of trash found on the exterior grounds. Each day this staff person should pick up any trash found around the property including but not limited to the following areas; parking lot, sidewalks, courtyards, walkways, bushes, behind fences, play areas. Trash cans near the mail boxes should be emptied every day. Particular care should be given to the office area each day making sure it is clear of leaves, trash, and snow. 2. Clean the laundry. 3. Particular care should be given to clean around the dumpster surrounds each day. No trash should be left next to or around the dumpsters. Garbage bags left on the ground should be opened to see if the apartment of origin can be discovered. At least once per week the dumpster pads need to be thoroughly swept and cleaned of any dirt and small debris. 4. Rocks need to be put back into the proper location of the landscaping. 5. Bulk items need to be put away into the bulk pick up area of the property. 6. The grounds person will be responsible for keeping the shop clean. 7. Grounds person as well as maintenance are responsible for cleaning of all common areas of the leasing area including the restrooms & laundry. 8. Unloading delivery trucks and placing items in proper storage areas. 9. Delivering materials as needed to maintenance and contract personnel. 10. The grounds person is responsible for fully or assisting in trashing out apartments after move outs. 11. Any necessary landscaping duties assigned by management. 12. Clearing snow on walks and stairs during the winter as needed including salt spreading. 13. Grounds person is also responsible to help the maintenance staff as directed. Qualified individuals will be able to consistently pass a drug test. No felonies. Have an active checking account for direct deposit.
