Blue and Gold Macaw

We have a gorgeous blue and gold macaw in need of a new home. She came to us right before our life totally turned upside down and changed completely. We ended up with 2 special needs kids living with us, when before our life was dedicated to our animals. She is a very sweet girl but she does need some training. She loves head scratches and cuddling. But she is not step up trained and she is terrified of if you try to pick her up on a perch. She will let you pick her up with both hands around her wings once she is used to you. She doesn't do well with other birds smaller than her (unsure on birds her size) so if she shares a home with them she needs to be kept separate at all times. She also does not like dogs or kids. She does talk and loves to dance. She likes to say "tickle tickle" and yell the kids names with me when I'm calling them. She does also have some not so great vocabulary from her old home. Main one being "shut up" but I swear I've heard her cuss at me before too. She is partially blind in one eye from an injury stemming from an awful wing clip and her trying to fly. She will come with her cage (giant and kind of a pain in the butt to assemble), lots of toys, climbing net, a cage travel in and whatever food she has left.
