Warehouse Technician Must have Class B CDL This position supports the safe and efficient operation of Triumvirate’s warehouse in conjunction with the Warehouse Operations Coordinator. The position works with operations teams to ensure proper and adequate equipment and supplies are loaded for each job. Develop and implement an equipment inventory, maintenance and issuance/return system that ensures valuable field/safety equipment is well maintained and available in the warehouse. Assist chemists and other operations personnel on the safe operation of issued equipment. Implement program to maintain, calibrate meters and monitors. Assist Manager in the maintenance of truck binders and permit/registration updates on regular basis. Conduct safety STOP audits in warehouse and assists with training program, as needed. Essential responsibilities and duties include: Responsible for opening warehouse according to established procedures Assists Operations (chemists, field services and wastewater) with truck loading process Responsible for checking the supplies for all work teams trucks to ensure they match needs of jobs (e.g. assess all loads to ensure proper container type and supplies, PPE, etc.) – sign off approval process Conducts spot truck checks (license, registration/insurance/DriverLog/VIR) Ensures truck permits, registrations, stickers are up to date and works with Manager to ensure paperwork in binders are up to date on a regular basis. Interacts with chemists teams to ensure they are familiar with safety related equipment, etc. Maintains inventory and calibration/maintenance of critical operations equipment (SCBAs, digital scales, printers, etc.) – utilizes equipment/inventory tag system Maintains Meters/Monitors program - inventory, maintenance (charge), calibration Inventory and maintenance of ER Supply Cage Conducts STOP audits in Warehouse (at minimum) quarterly Winter time - spreads salt on entry/exit ways to ensure safety in warehouse Assist w/ Operations training programs on new employee orientation, the use of Meters/Monitors, ER and other safety related programs, as needed Most important responsibility: WOW!
